Teamwork makes the dream work
As the CBC Kids Ministry grows, the need for laborers in the field is also growing. Ilyana Picans has stepped up and into the position of Children's Ministry | Team Coordinator and as God leads, we have slowly been filling all positions on the structure with persons who are gifted in teaching, guiding & encouraging children into discipleship. The Tutors
One Sunday a month
- Tutors are adult volunteers from CBC who teach one Sunday every month
- Tutors help teach The Gifted Curriculum which is our kids bible class during the service
- Tutors are given a pre-planned lesson and simply need to read and watch the videos to be able hold relevant discussions with the kids
- Tutors are assisted by "The Crew" who can help as needed
- The Ministry Coordinator is responsible for the classroom, TV access & sourcing all materials - so our Tutors just need to show up!
The Crew
Once a week
- The Crew consists of teenaged & young adult volunteers from CBC
- The Crew volunteer either for Sunday's Kids Bible Class (during service) or Wednesday's Pre-Teen Discipleship Club (Starting in August) - or both!
- The Crew are extra eyes & hands for Tutors or Club Leaders and also help with technological projects, social media content & helping maintain order as requested.
- The Ministry Coordinator is responsible for assigning schedules & tasks to The Crew as their availability allows.
Legacy League
Once a quarter
- The Legacy League consists of retirees attending or belonging to CBC
- The Legacy League helps out on 5th Sundays for the kids bible class during service
- The League members are expected to teach the CBC Kids one useful life-skill on their 5th Sunday
- The League members are assisted by The Crew and/or The Ministry Coordinator
- The Ministry Coordinator is responsible for scheduling & coordinating materials needed
